Another day, another excerpt from Britney Spears’ upcoming explosive tell-all memoir The Woman In Me out October 24th.

In Britney Spears' memoir she reveals that Jamie Lynn told her to "stop fighting" the conservatorship.

"I felt like she should have taken my side.”

OP - come on. Jamie Lynn did not say "stop fighting the conservatorship", she was talking about fighting the inpatient rehab. At least read your own posts.

I hope Britney talks about her mother and her brother in this book. Where were there? Why is it only always about Jamie Lynn not saving her?

She will talk about her mom. There was a post that mentioned Lynn exposed her to alcohol at a young age. I'm sure she'll talk about her brother because he was behind the scenes throughout her career

If you follow her IG over the years especially post c-ship, she's pretty much cursed out her whole family. Bryan doesn't get as much mention but when he does she doesn't mince words. Most of her anger tends to be directed towards Jamie, Lynne, and JL. She's cursed out her parents more than her. ETA: Iirc either Britney or some other publication mentioned that Bryan would take advantage of Britney's popularity and sleep with some of her fans or something like that.

A lot of what's been leaked in the press Britney has talked about it in her IG posts for 2 years so they're def all getting a mention in the book.

Yeah I was about to mention how Brian often gets left out of the conversation of her life because he didn't do anything in entertainment but he CLEARLY failed her too.

JL shared a text message she allegedly sent to Britney trying to help her get out of the c-ship on the Call Her Daddy podcast. I think it’s interesting that according to her it was Lynne and Sam Ingham conspiring against Britney, while their father just wants to resign.

I wish someone could express to Britney the concept of loving family but also keeping them away from you or knowing you can love them but recognizing they have no place in your life anymore. After how *all* of them treated her over the years they do not deserve to be in her life but I also get how this is clearly SO lonely for her and how complicated it can be.

I can also recognize Jamie Lynn herself must have grown up in this abusive relationship with their parents and perhaps was in self preservation mode or fearful of potential wrath but ALSO she was terrible to Britney to say the least.

I supsect it's less black & white. Britney has her feelings, but I suspect JL & others may have a different POV.
