i was going to say that nyad has big "this had oscar buzz" energy... and then scrolled down to pain hustlers next. oof. netflix must be praying over maestro (but i bet the academy will eat that one up)

I saw an unfinished cut of Nyad a while back -- it's enjoyable enough, mostly for the friendship between the two main ladies. (I wish it was Oscar-worthy, because Annette is SO OVERDUE, but...eh. I'm still mad Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool went nowhere.)

What have you been watching lately, ONTD? Seeing anything this weekend?
Some of the (good) spooky stuff I've seen so far: Appendage, Totally Killer, Ravenous (2017), Next of Kin, The Witch Who Came from the Sea, The Legend of Hell House, Turn of the Screw (1985), Dark Waters [Spoiler (click to open)]Sarah 🤝 Gabriel from Malignant, Roh, Demon Seed, Demons (1985), The Exquisite Cadaver, The Conference, Scalpel, The Other Side of the Underneath, Deadline, Whistle and I'll Come to You and Penda's Fen!
Over the weekend I want to watch: Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural, The Haunted, It's Not Good for a Man to be Alone (agree do disagree), The Secret of the Mummy (brazilian horror/comedy!) and The Damned House of Hajn.

Still unsure if I’m seeing KotFM this week or just seeing it on AppleTV.
