While it looks as though Taylor Swift will dominate the box office for a second weekend in a row, she has a legendary challenger this weekend in Martin Scorsese. Killers of the Flower Moon is by far the biggest new release of the weekend, but the 3 hour and 26 minute long critically acclaimed film will likely be too lengthy for some theatergoers. Netflix has several new releases this weekend as well, both on streaming and in theaters.
The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Five” - Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have just opened near you:
October 13th,
October 6th, and
September 29th.
