Each time she opens her mouth it’s more out of touch. It’s almost like that’s a huge problem with Nepo Baby Culture!!!

If GOOP keeps running her mouth, eventually she'll have a Hilaria Baldwin-Amy Schumer moment where she'll be wishing she'd sat quietly.

I mean she survives off of coffee, broth and vitamin bags. It’s a miracle she had the energy to string a sentence together. Can’t expect her to actually have enough to grasp such ~complex socioeconomic dynamics

I judge kids who get cushy jobs in their parents company or through connections too Gwyneth.

Hm, what she said is generally true but...

The issue is we're seeing a much larger class divide in this country (America) and the world. The more that resources (money) gets consolidated to a 'select' few the more apparent it becomes to everyone (the working class) that things are fucked. Nepo babies are a really easy and digestible way for us to see that inequality and take our frustration out.

Generally true yet at the same time rather (I suspect purposely) obtuse though. Nobody’s criticism of nepo babies is that it’s weird they picked up an interest in common with their parents.

Nobody rips on a kid who's like, 'I want to be a doctor like my dad and granddad.'

I mean, when I was in academia, I instantly became less impressed with "pedigree" MD and PhD students. Like, okay, you're (maybe) smart and (maybe) worked hard, but your dad or your mom is literally the chair of the program at the SAME research institute/hospital you're at. You fully had someone to light the way, provide a built-in network, and to top it off: rich enough to provide you opportunities we peasants had to scrape by for.
