I'm so excited for this! I'm really sad I can't see it at the cinema because I won't be able to read the subtitles in the country I live in. I finally found out it has Osage language in it (as it should!) Buuut can't wait for it to come to streaming. Sorry Marty! 😭

I wonder if the Pioneer Woman will have a special episode dedicated to this movie since it tells so much of her husbands families history… oh wait

She's coming to a bookstore near me next month. I will ask her.

The number of articles dragging her husband's family this week have been great, but I also keep reading that none of the Osage want to go after her because she has revitalized Pawhuska with all her shopping / restaurants / hotel attracting tourists.

I did see, though, in the article below, that the Osage have started buying back some of the land they lost, and that the main villain in Killers of the Flower Moon sold (yes, he sold his land, he wasn't forced to return it) to the Drummonds, and a portion of that has since been bought back by the Osage. https://slate.com/culture/2023/10/killers-of-the-flower-moon-movie-pioneer-woman-ree-drummond.html

If he really wants to get people in the theaters for this movie he should support intermissions.
