As someone in a very similar situation with my dad I can tell you that Brad Pitt will die thinking he did nothing wrong and his kids are ungrateful bastards, and he probably goes around telling people how they don’t appreciate everything he does for them (even if it’s clearly nothing).

If the kids are not seeing him... then it's a bit difficult unless they have virtual visits.

However, also, isn't there a "rule" or common practice that a person waits at least 6 months or more to introduce a new partner to their children?

I waited 9 months and everyone thought I was nuts so yeah, that’s just common sense but definitely not common practice unfortunately

lol that’s how long Kim decided to wait bc that’s the number her therapist gave her. I don’t think there’s a set rule or “common” timeline, more so knowing yourself and whomever it is you’re dating and whether it’s worth to introduce to your kids. I think the hope is that most parents will wait longer rather than not

Apparently my ex thinks it's 3 weeks because he just introduced the woman he's seeing for that long to our kid. (Ask me how hard I'm raging.)
