Was Angelica let go from RM’s pool of actors?

At my current job we were told the same thing about t-shirts and dress code. Unless it’s blatantly explicit, derogatory or racist then it’s a free speech issue. Outside of issuing out uniforms or a strict clothing guideline they would not be doing anything about someone’s clothing. And they wouldn’t change the dress code because it would effect job recruitment and equity of employment.. and this was from the DEI director.

That’s actually why they had a whole conversation about their policy as it was during the BLM movement with people wearing that anti-BLM blue stripe flag thing(idk the name of it) shirts and others wearing BLM shirts. Both are allowed.

"Freedom of speech" or "protected speech" usually refer to actions protected in the first amendment of the US constitution. The first amendment only applies to the government. Americans never understand that. So Facebook can take down your post for having false information. But the courts are deciding if the federal government can put pressure on social media to remove the posts. That's the difference.

While not the same as the racist incidents that Angelica is raising, I remember watching of those “actor reflects on their career” vids on YouTube with Kathy Bates, and for AHS she was so apologetic bc she apparently forgot to thank RM publicly when she won an award for the role and he called and yelled at her afterwards. The fucking ego.

RM is a piece of shit and there have been stories about his sets for years. I swear we'll never be rid of him. Somehow, that Dahmer show did so well, studios aren't going to drop him.

More positively, I do want to say that Angelica is SO well spoken. I'm so jealous of anyone who can put their words together so elegantly and still say exactly what they mean.
