so many young people dying unexpectedly. irish from 702 also died yesterday also at 43 years old. people saying it's covid-related, not specificially, but as a general trend it might be.

It could be covid, but it seems like cancer is killing people in their 40's now and it's still a bit shocking to hear about it because we don't associate cancer with that age bracket. I know I did not expect to be in the late 30's and get cancer.

Yeah. I'm sure it doesn't help that for the covid lockdown years it was difficult to see doctors. As awesome as Telehealth, is it can be a downfall. Because there are somethings that your doctor needs to see you in person for. I was lucky to have a high survival type of cancer and a amazing surgeon. You can't even see my scar. It's been 4 years and I cancer free.

At first I was thinking it’d be less tragic if his death was from a car accident or some freak occurrence. But then I remember Anton Yelchin’s death being just as tragic. There’s no “good” way for a young person to die.
