I totally understand that comedians and autobiographical storytellers exaggerate and outright fabricate situations for comedic effect but lying about hate crimes and getting a woman harassed because he embellished a story to make her family appear racist is egregious. Like, what the fuck?!

Reminds me of a kid who was featured in “Humans of New York” who said he had to switch schools because he was bullied so much. A friend’s daughter went to his first school and said it was all lies and he was actually the bully but no one cared that he was lying on HONY because they were just happy he was in a new school.

This dark cloud of a person (who also did the bare min) wasn’t in my dept but I did have to work with her and she got promoted and the whole office was like “wtf??” then we learned that would mean she’d move to a whole different office and suddenly no one was mad anymore 😆

I don’t feel like dissecting this article. I just want to say I love his comedy, I love how seen I feel as a first generation South Asian Muslim raised by immigrants. I love what he does for our community.
