My husband works with people who have traumatic brain injuries. He says he'd never get on a motorcycle.

When I first moved to Ohio, I was SHOCKED bc I guess there's no mandatory helmet law here, and there are all these people driving their motorcycles on the interstate with no helmet. I still can't get used to it. Motorcycles scare the crap out of me, although I'm sure there is a very exhilarating and enjoyable feeling for many people. I hope Mathieu Kassovitz has a smooth and full recovery.

I used to ride motorcycles when I was younger and kinda want one now but I will never understand people who ride without helmets. This summer I was driving in the City and saw a man with his young son who was no more than 10 riding on the back with I just don’t understand how careless and stupid people are.

Motorcycles are such an addictive rush for me, and yet they are also so very dangerous bc most doctors and nurses I know would never get on one.

I love cycling but even that's dangerous in most of the US (world? Idk, I hear it's much better in the EU. And safest in Nordic countries which have amazing self-traffic navigational systems with mini gestures that is crazy effectice and they have big immoveable barriers between roads and cyclist roads, instead of the US which has a... painted stripe, which does not stop anyone from crossing it... dumb US system, American idiots in power).

Pdx used to be much safer in every way, but with a less than useless police force that does not know most of the law (most cops don't know the law btw), insane drivers that have rage issues, all made c wise post-COVID and with rich east coast transplants.
