It really is pretty ridic. I pay for the top service and I barely use the damned thing... although I did use it to get Sea of Stars, but as much as a I love a 16-bit JRPG throwback, it ain't worth no $160.00!
That's great to hear! I will be playing Baldur's Gate 3 starting tomorrow, so I didn't want to start Sea of Stars just to stop it so quickly, but it's definitely on the list of things to get to!
LOL this is exactly me. I actually started SoS but was like oh wait this is a bad idea, BG3 is going to eat up all my time and when I go back to SoS I'll have forgotten everything ha ha.
I pay for the most expensive Nintendo plan (family plan + expansion pack) and even that's only $80/yr for me, my boyfriend, my sister, AND her boyfriend.
This isn't a small increase, it's 30%,fuck them, I'm gonna let mine lapse, I don't even play most of the games they offer on the service anyway. I'm just gonna work on the backlog I have.
I’m a very undisciplined gamer, I won’t play for months and months at a time and then I’ll play for like 8 hours a day for a solid week when I get time off and a craving for a specific game. so I’ve been doing the occasional PS plus premium monthly purchase which suits me fairly well but I’ll probably have to start thinking more carefully about if/when I pick my month with these prices.

I had to search what it is; It sounds a lot like what Nintendo charges us for online but that's 20$/a YEAR for a single device.
Also what is Game Help? sounds like the ability to look up a YT vid.
