She also "let her sleep in" because "she always does this and how dare she make ME (her MOTHER) wake her up", so her 5 year old missed school and was punished for it. In the same clip of her explaining that her 5 year is "plenty" old enough to be able to wake herself up, the older daughter Shari was literally like "wtf"

FINALLY. I have issues with family vloggers in general, but this woman and her weird cult (not Mormonism, the other one) were on another level. I got such sinister vibes from her I don't get from most. She's awful.

I follow Shari on social media and I'm oddly proud of her. She cut contact with her immediate family when she started college and has clearly been fighting like hell for her siblings.

Same, children should be protected because it's not that different from stage parents having children become stars to support their families. I really hate when people use their families as their brands. It ends up being abusive, and boundaries are beyond blurred. We've seen Jon and Kate Plus 8 and even the Kardashians when they were really young, and look how badly they've become because of their money-hungry parents.
