Ew. That’s so gross and honestly fucked up. To even go as far as writing a physical interaction??? Ugh.

Good on her brother, father, and boyfriend's dad for showing up for her because WTF was that bullshit? She's entitled to feel uncomfortable; hell, I feel uncomfortable for her and I wasn't even there!

Based on her previous stories, it doesn't sound like they actually did (brother, boyfriend, and boyfriend's dad). The only person she's said so far, I think, that called Mark out in the midst of everything was Chad. It was when they did that Texas episode and Mark was hugging her or touching her or something in a bar with a lot of the cast there and Chad, who Mark hated so felt he had nothing to lose apparently, called him out on the spot for being gross.

Yeah it's really upsetting. There were so many people that were really close to Hilarie on that set- coworkers who she still considers friends, and her literal family, and yet none of them did enough to protect her.

I am generally not a CMM fan, but good on him for saying something. Too many people just stood by and watched this shit happen to her.

I always found it soo weird how he wrote himself into the show and only in scenes with Peyton on her own. It's so gross.

Had they been dating previously and then broke up? Why weren’t they talking? Was he just perving on her from afar with no prior relationship or something? I feel like I’m missing a piece of the story

No they never dated (she was dating Ian Prange for most of her run on the show I think). He was just obsessed with her and Danneel and constantly coming on to/stalking them, and he assaulted her a few times. Thats why she left when her contract was up.

Never dating. He was (is) a sexual and emotional terrorist. Unwanted touching and comments for years. They increased over time. These kids started the show around 20 years old. When the female cast members stopped entertaining their advances he got mad. Burton was his "favourite". She wasn't talking to him because he was a predator, in retaliation he wrote himself into the episode as a character she had to hug.

This is the episode where Peyton spends most of the episode with Max talking about her issues with Lucas. I can't imagine being forced to spend hours with the person that's violated you on a regular basis for years. He's also such a shit actor that I remember hating this episode.
