I appreciate that this is obviously a continuation of Rebels while still including enough background information that people who didn't watch Rebels (like my husband) can follow what's going on.

I kind of ship Ahsoka and Hera.

I never saw Rebels but I did reasonably enjoy this. I probably won't keep up but it is pleasant so far

The first eps were miles above Boba Fett and Kenobi but still kind of lame. The stoic vibe they've given Ahsoka is not translating well on screen IMO

Also what is it with Sith Inquisitors not being able to defeat 'Jedi' who didn't even complete their training

Ashoka is my bf's all time favorite SW character and he's tried to tell me over and over and over about how awesome she is and I would totally love her too if I gave her a chance.

She seems incredibly boring going off of the live action performance.

i've watched all of the cartoons etc and i dont understand the hype for the character. fanboys seem to love her whatever reason. young ahsoka was a bit punk and had some charm but adult ahsoka is so glazed all the time its like she's high 24/7

i messaged my brothers after watching it remarking that its funny how much higher the production quality is for this show compared to kenobi, boba fett (even mandalorian). obvious who the favorite is lmao. but we knew that from when they introduced time travel to the saga just to retcon her (well written) death

I didn't have high hopes, but I was honestly disappointed with how flat everyone seemed. Except for Morgan Elsbeth and Baylan. I hate the dark Jedi apprentice for reasons I don't know and I'm disappointed with how little Sabine and Hera feel like Sabine and Hera.

I also hate how bland the background is. Star Wars needs to look crowded, lived in, and grimy. Everything was too clean and spacious.

And how the fuck [Spoiler (click to open)]did Sabine live through a lightsaber to the gut? Qui-Gon died but she didn't???

I agree with you that some of the characters are too flat. Sabine and Hera almost feel interchangeable to me right now which is...not great.

Hera has such a presence in Rebels. She takes charge of almost any room she's in, even if Mon Mothma is there.
