I didn't have high hopes, but I was honestly disappointed with how flat everyone seemed. Except for Morgan Elsbeth and Baylan. I hate the dark Jedi apprentice for reasons I don't know and I'm disappointed with how little Sabine and Hera feel like Sabine and Hera.

I also hate how bland the background is. Star Wars needs to look crowded, lived in, and grimy. Everything was too clean and spacious.

And how the fuck [Spoiler (click to open)]did Sabine live through a lightsaber to the gut? Qui-Gon died but she didn't???

I agree with you that some of the characters are too flat. Sabine and Hera almost feel interchangeable to me right now which is...not great.

Hera has such a presence in Rebels. She takes charge of almost any room she's in, even if Mon Mothma is there.

Same, I didn't think it would bother me as much but it bugged me that the voices for Hera, Sabine, and Ahsoka aren't the same. It was like I was watching cosplayers instead of the actual characters themselves.

Sadly I felt more excited seeing Clancy Brown as Ryder Azadi than any of the other returning Rebels characters since he actually reprised his role.
