disclaimer: i had not watched a single episode since season 2 but decided to watch the series finale because why not!

86 year old betty was really well cast!

this show is so aggressively devoted to being dumb - archie's poem was sensational

presumably it's shippers being so intense that made writers shrug like "lol a quad! lol everyone is so career focused and revolutionary that they die alone except archie for some reason!"

as someone who did not peak in hs, being 17 forever is my idea of hell

does the previous present day timeline just not exist anymore?

They all went back in time to fix the present day timeline so technically it does not exist. The Riverdale students and their families I guess don't but like maybe random townies do? Except it's now innocent Riverdale and not jingle jangle murder riverdale

I don't watch this show but I read a finale recap earlier and honestly it sounds like a huge bummer to find out how every character died. When I finish a show I want to feel like the characters are still out there somewhere.
