SO-- the Best Songs of the 1990's... there's a LOT here and a LOT to choose from. These songs are just touchstones in my brain as one growing up and trying just to live life growing up through everything. All of these songs helped me survive being a gay in a world that still wasn't ready for it.

Rooster is so damn good, but I prefer Man in the Box - his vocals are just insane.

I'm a 90s child, through and through, while my Dad claims that it's the worst decade for music, and I fight him on this and get my playlist going every time we're in the car so obviously I win. I'm sorry to mention U2 when so many hate them, but Achtung Baby is a legit favourite and One is a perfect song.

Finally, I'm so glad Silver Springs was mentioned. Stevie singing to Lindsey and them staring at each other...man, it's so good
