Honestly, there's nothing jumping out at me this week, but that's not a shock for the end of summer timeframe. I did recently buy tickets for the IMAX showing of Stop Making Sense next month, so I'm looking forward to that. And I'm definitely going to see Bottoms next weekend.

wow i listen to jason concepcion’s podcast here and there and had no idea he had a movie coming out, though obviously he can’t promote it right now

anyways, my local film festival said they’d unveil their schedule by august 15th. cool, i’m excited to see it so i go to their site on tuesday morning to check… and there’s like 6 features on the schedule. i know something’s up since it’s a fraction of what they normally have, then dig around a bit and find a blurb that’s like “we’re giving a sneak peek while we finalize more films” so i guess the full schedule is tbd? it’s next month so i’m kinda annoyed i can’t plan accordingly yet, but admittedly i have been cranky all week so i’ll get over it.

anyways, this week has absolutely exhausted me so i am looking forward to cocooning at home and checking out red white & royal blue because i had no time for it last weekend and the wild gamut of reactions have intrigued me lmao

Landscape with invisible hand looks like it has potential. I saw the trailer first in theaters and I did not see the storyline coming which is rare for a movie these days.

Yeah, literally every new movie sells out the Dolby at my theater on opening night, and it is uhhh... not sold out. Hope you enjoy!
