Landscape looks potentially too quirky & pretentious even for me, but I'm seeing it tonight anyway bc the reviews are good and I liked the director's other two features, so ya know. Finally getting to Passages and Demeter on Sunday.

Tomorrow I'll probably watch my 200th film of 2023, so I want it to be a good one -- Earth Mama, maybe?

also, trying to plan my second Oppenheimer viewing, but holy shit, the IMAX/70mm screenings are selling out like craaaaaazy even a week or more in advance. 😳 nerds!!

Why did I think Birth/Rebirth was going to be on Shudder?

It's a Shudder production, I think, it so probably will be! Usually it's a few months after a theatrical release.

Mutt looks good and Miguel Wants to Fight looks silly but fun.

i regret wasting my time on the new insidious. but what i don't regret is watching the handmaiden. i can't believe i waited so long to watch it but it was buried in my netflix dvd queue. i've been trying to put the must-see films at the top of the queue since the service is ending in a few weeks :'(
