There was this famous fabulous gay danceclub called The Warehouse (that I was way too young to go to) in Chicago that everyone went to get their House on, and the WBMX radio stations had DJs who would mix nothing but house music on Friday and Saturday nights. When these two songs came on EVERYONE got on the floor:

80s soundtracks were pretty epic. Ghostbusters, Purple Rain, The Mission, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Flashdance, Footloose, Dirty Dancing, Good Morning Vietnam.
