and the small village, city, most magical place on earth, Lahaina, burned to the ground over the last few days. And to make the situation worse my young niece, her husband, and their little boy had just arrived for a very needed vacation before she started up her school year

This is thoughtful to you? Oh yes, your young niece missing her vacation is what made the Maui fires even worse than they already were. Not the island being decimated, but that her niece was missing a vacation

Does anyone have a list of places to donate? I'd use Twitter but all the activists I follow aren't on there anymore. I'll donate to Red Cross is there isn't a proper list but I'd rather not

Every one of these rich celebs needs to just shut the fuck up and give their money to relief efforts. And once that's done leave and give their land back to the native Hawaiians.

Was the point of her post that her niece not getting a vacation? It was like one line, then she expressed how worried she was about her niece, the burned-down places she cherished, and the people she couldn't reach.
