He's not wrong. Its non-threatening to let a straight white guy who only ever dates hot actress/models wear feminine clothing as a prop for magazine covers. They never want to elevate men who'd wear it on the street.

Feelings about him aside, he's very very right and for some it hurts to hear it but it needs to be heard nonetheless. There is truly just no way around it. Harry Styles looks like fucking guttershit garbage. He literally looks like shit out of an ass. He is among the ugliest white men I've ever seen in hollywood right now-no dont show me when he was like 18, that doesnt matter. Right now, he looks like a boiled digested frog pulled out of an alligators asscrack. Not only is he ugly, but his outfits are even uglier. I hear you but also it's Vogue? They will always choose white mediocrity over excellence by poc, they will always highlight the expensive branded version stolen off of some kid's streetwear instead of the streetwear itself.

IDK I have complicated feelings about these elite institutions. Over the years I've just come to realize that part of what makes them so elite is their fealty to whiteness and their refusal to let in anyone outside of that tiny circle.

And Harry Styles is a friendly face that appeals to their audience. They're not putting nobodies on the cover, they put people who have made it.
