His beef does seem to be with Anna/the magazine rather than Styles himself, he just happened to be the person they chose for that moment. Hard to talk about your beef with something unless you mention what it is/who was involved. So while it does sound a bit anti-Harry, I don't think the issue really has anything to do with him - just what he represents as a safe choice for the Vogue cover.
