I am wondering if he means like... removing the binary gender of clothing? Like seeing clothing as non-binary and thus it doesn't matter the gender of the person wearing any clothing? Or something?

I didn't read it as Billy claiming Harry was NB but more as a dig @ Harry for benefitting from people seeing him as anything other than a straight man. He's clearly very bitter about that cover still, so it all reads like him trying to come for Harry without painting him as the worst offender in the situation.

Yeah, that is how I interpreted it too. I was surprised to see people considering it an insult to all nb people rather than at people like Harry who are very opportunistic. But maybe Billy Porter does dislike nb people so there is more context that people know for that comment?

I think the only context is that Billy has a reputation of being an egotistical asshole lol but Idt he's dragging NB people here, he's dragging Harry while trying to pretend he's not.
