The queen of pop celebrates her first album anniversary and recovering her health

After a much publicized health scare, Madonna took to Twitter to dance to “lucky star” from her first and self titled album, released this day, 40 years ago in 1983.

Adding that she feels lucky to be healthy and able to move her body again to the rhythm of her tune.

Before her recent health scare I was already skeptical she could complete a world tour. At her age, with a hip surgery, on the level of performance she does, it's not possible. Also, she is def using someting lately.

The wise thing would be to cancel the tour. Maybe do one oe two recorded perfomances if she feels the need for a closure.

Harsh, but facts. It's one of the reasons Tina retired when she did. She was fine at the time, but accepted that she would not be able to keep putting on the shows that people expected of Tina Turner and wanted to stop on her terms.

Madonna has so many great ballads though. I wish she would pivot from the need to go so big and instead do a more manageable "Something To Remember" type of ballads tour.
