The queen of pop celebrates her first album anniversary and recovering her health

After a much publicized health scare, Madonna took to Twitter to dance to “lucky star” from her first and self titled album, released this day, 40 years ago in 1983.

Adding that she feels lucky to be healthy and able to move her body again to the rhythm of her tune.

I remember when the videos from this album first started being shown on MTV and I loved "Lucky Star" so much. What she was wearing, her dancing, her sass, she was just so damn awesome and not really like any other woman pop star I had seen before. I still have trouble wrapping my brain around her being 64 because her 80s image especially is just so iconic.
