I like his films, but I have to be in the mood for them because they’re just too “quirky white people existing in a special (fun colored) world” for me.

i am a long time wes anderson apologist (the movies, not the person) but i feel like i am being tested to my limits after 'asteroid city'.

I’m not an apologist, so Asteroid City went way past my limits lol
I hated that he decided on a framing device (which was sometimes actually more interesting than the main plot but just didn’t work together)
