According to Wikipedia; Kenneth Branagh's Murder on the Orient Express had a budget of $55 million & made $352.8 million. His Death on the Nile had a budget of $90 million & made $137.3 million.
The first was a success, the second wasn't. But maybe he has a development deal for so many movies?
