I loved this show, my bf and I would watch it every week and laugh our asses off. I liked the ending, but I will say it was kind of abrupt, also I don't see any more seasons of this coming out.
I think this was just showcasing a moment in their life-long frienship where both Sylvia and Will were going through some shit and needed to rely on one another. Once they got a grip, they were pulled in different directions, and the sad lingering looks they gave each other at the wedding are residuals of that deep ache that you get when you see someone you love being happy away from you. And btw I don't mean in a romantic way, mantaining friendships through adulthood is hard and sometimes you only get to keep the memories of your best times as you move forward.
Will watch any other projects with Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, they're chemistry is off the charts and I seriously choked laughing during the CK episode.
Yeah to me it felt like it was more about that bittersweet feeling of life going in different directions but still caring about your friend and what they are up to.
The scene after Rose gets fired and she's walking out of the office for the last time? The dazed misery on her face was hilarious and I dont think many people are capable of that.
i liked it and thought the premise was cute, but partway through it felt a little directionless and by the end it kinda fizzled for me.
i was hoping the plot points that happened in the last episode would've been expanded on throughout the season - it would've made for a much more satisfying finale. i wanted to see these characters actually earn the endings they got instead of just having them happen??
