he isnt defending kevin spacey, he is just testifying on whether or not he attended his parties in certain years. and he cant just lie cuz guests are photographed each year and his parties are a pertinent part of the victim's claims.

Yes, Elton and his husband were called to testify because the defense wants to deny some of the claims that are related to their party. Sorry if I made it sound confusing.

oh no worries it was me jumping to conclusions and then reading the article for more details. i know its page six but even the comments of that article also jumped to conclusions that testifying for the defense meant defending spacey - backing his side.

I mean, they used a photo of spacey with his arm around Elton. It’s exactly what they were hoping people would think.

Is this something he chose to do? I thought people called as witnesses had to testify.

Either way, it seems like Spacey's team is trying to use that the victim was like a year off or something as a means to discredit them which is ridiculous.

it says he was driving him to the party..maybe Spacey never made it to the party. This doesn't prove that it didn't happen..it just proves that Spacey wasn't at the party.

I think he just got the year wrong, which of course doesn't mean he's lying. Spacey attended the party in 2001, it's not such a stretch
