I watched more of it last night. I have now watched 9 episodes of the show, so I think I have 3 more to go in Season 1. It's much better than Discovery.

The big weakness of Discovery was not making it an ensemble show and having these insane stakes every season. Star Trek works so much better when it's smaller stories that allow the whole cast/crew to shine.

That and trying to make Burnham into the most important and influential character in ST history. They just made her into the ultimate mary sue

I absolutely love the show and I was always complanig about missing old Star Trek. Never thought this would happen so soon again with that franchise!
