I know self-diagnosis is tricky, but I think I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome too. I have the same exact symptoms, especially the “shooting pains and burning sensations all over my hands, legs, and back.” I want to talk to my family about the pain but I'm afraid they will just brush it off as neuropathy and say I'm diabetic and fat. :/

My roommate has been dealing with long covid for the past two years and his doctors think he might have this, but it's pretty hard to diagnose. Although his doesn't sound quite as intense as what she's dealing with, he's mostly just fatigued.

isn't Chronic Fatigue one of the little gifts left behind by the Epstein-Barr Virus? I know that there were trials for an EBV vaccine last year, as someone who also has an EBV-inspired illness I'd like to see it happen

Yea, I've thought for years now mono was the trigger for all my vague health issues including chronic low energy, my symptoms started within a year of getting it.

God when I had mono it was so miserable and also really hard to get my diagnosis cus no one took me seriously until I put it together myself and asked them to test me for it and when it came back positive they all looked dumb as hell.

I was so exhausted for like 4 months. Ugh.

I had it and a severe vitamin d deficiency at the same time, and at one point I was so tired that I didn't even have the energy to put my pyjamas on for bed, so I just stood by my bed and sobbed until my mother had to come help me. It was the worst.

sometimes i wonder if i have this. ive had insomnia for 3 years now and i only sleep with the help of aids (weed) - i wake up feeling tired everydayyyyyy.

I feel for her, but I'm also happy got her in the sense that she got a diagnosis and has been able to read up on her illness

I think I have PMDD and while my therapist agrees, I saw an OBGYN last month who basically said yeah no, you just need to do more cardio and eat better lmao
Amazingly, that did not make a difference, who could've guessed
