Netflix has put up advertisements around the world saying, "YES, HE'S STILL GERALT IN SEASON 3." People on the internets as taking this as shade against Cavill's replacement, Liam Hemsworth, and feeling sorry for Miley's ex.

I'm sad that season 3 seems to actually be great so far and it's Cavill's last season. It really feels like a farewell.

But I am happy that it's been easy to follow plot wise when it felt like season 2 couldn't make up it's mind where it was going. But im also dumb so it could have been me lol

I hated season 2 SO MUCH that I feel like it's almost hard for me to judge season 3? My standards were in the basement and I didn't even watch for a couple days because... I had forgotten it was coming out, lol. I REALLY enjoyed episode 5 and I can see why they decided to break the season there (if they had to, lol, I still think it's stupid) and I was pleased at how fun the episode was while being simultaneously a little frustrated that it took until episode five to really kick THAT much into gear.

Season 2 felt like it was just... a lot of exposition and filler and WAY TOO MANY NEW/SIDE CHARACTERS. Like, it felt like we spent more time with Francesca and Fringilla in S2 waffling around than we did with the actual main characters. Killing off a couple of those characters and not introducing a ton of new ones made S3 a tighter story.

S2 was such a letdown. I might check out s3 eventually but I seriously doubt it.

Ngl, I’m not even bothering with this season. The last season was hot garbage and knowing Cavill’s leaving makes it feel pointless to even engage.
