Interesting that he felt the need to say he's socially awkward to justify not going for the hug, I'm very much a hugger myself but I never assume that it's okay to hug someone I just met, since I'm comfortable either way, I just wait for their cue. I'm not shitting on Jessica btw (on the list of annoying things she does, this isn't really one for me) but Idt people realize just how much some people dislike being touched, especially by strangers. Hugs are awesome and healing and I could literally hug people every day but it's the kind of the thing you don't force, I always get verbal consent before I hug someone.

George didn’t love too far from me growing up so I’d see him around a lot. It was tradition to go see his Christmas lights, he always did them big.
