I don't think I've ever seen this show, the closest i've come to it is watching the snl spoof with Maya as beyonce. But good on the producers/creators of a "mere" youtube show turning it into something big that can revile late night shows in terms of superstar guests.
He asks really smart and insightful questions, and the people he interviews seem genuinely happy to be there. The Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, and Dave Grohl episodes are good. The DJ Khalid episode was a mess, if I recall he tapped out after two bites and acted like he had won the lottery, Sean was a bit of a loss.
Sean, the interviewer, is really amazing. I've watched a lot of the episodes even if I don't follow the guest. He has really good questions and the hot wings quirk makes the celebs really funny lmao. Shaq's and Idris Elba's episodes are iconic. Recently Rosalía was in it and I really enjoyed it too.
I'd be really interested to hear how a long time fan feels about Jennifer during her point of over saturation and now.
I see the comments above saying she seems much chiller, but the quick scan of the video I watched she seemed pretty much the same to me?
I was always cautious about the extreme dislike of JLaw because while parts were not exaggerated (Hawaii, etc), the opinions that she was annoying, too much, etc really seemed to be in response to rise. In the same way it was popular to tag on Anne Hathaway because she was joyous about her job. Tearing a woman down just because she happened to rise is an easy trap to fall into.
Anyhow, my rambling point is I wonder how true it is that she's chilled out and how much is just our own perception of her has changed?
not a fan (I'm like neutral to like about her i guess), but for me it was the narrative rather than necessarily her actions - anything she did, or said would immediately be reported as 'SHE'S SUCH A DOWN TO EARTH COOL GIRL' or 'A REAL GIRL NEXT DOOR OMG LOOK SHE'S JUST LIKE US SHE ATE A FRYYYYY' and while it's likely not totally on her per se, her team clearly ran with that image. And after a while the line between narrative and person blurs, so she herself becomes annoying.
