Also I feel like her ex Bell has said other shitty things but maybe it was just this? But it makes me sad to think he has access to all the wealth and connections of the Mara family now too, so she's got two powerful exes with a vendetta against her.

well, he also said in the same court filing - "Bell argued in court that Wood's "story defies credibility", and accused her of "withholding our son from me for other reasons of her own invention."

Basically saying she was making it all up.

Yep that's what I'm taking from his statement. He's mad because he doesn't believe her about MM abusing her so he doesn't take the threat to her - which is also a threat to his kid's safety while she has custody of him - seriously.

I think I read that the kid knew people might harm him cause he brought it up to his dad and Jamie freaked cause that's gotta fuck with a kid.

Evan seems like a good mom, but she made the right decision to give him up rn from what I can tell. Jamie is no prize cause Evan said when they were together, he would victim blame her a lot, but he seems like he really loves his son.

In her doc, she said that Jamie was super jealous all the time and victim blamed her when they were together, so I am not saying he's a good dude, but I can imagine that being around that kind of drama all the time is not good for the kid. I'm hoping once the trial is over, they can revisit custody. But while it's impending and while it's happening, it's probably a good idea for him to be in a more stable environment.

Hopefully Jamie doesn't talk shit about her in front of him though.
