After months (even years) of rumors and speculation, it appears that Marvel has finally cast the Fantastic Four. MCU (and sometimes DC) Twitter scooper My Time to Shine Hello says that the Fantastic Four cast is locked

I miss when they would cast more newcomers in these films.

yeah, they used to have some inspiring choices for their projects (thor and loki for example) and now they are too scared when it would be so easy for them

Yeah these are prestige actors, I don’t know if Marvel is trying to go for awards season after a couple of near brushes but Fantastic Four sure ain’t the story to get them there. And the cast doesn’t seem cohesive to me at all. The idea of these four together actually makes me weridly…uncomfortable?? I can’t explain it. I like all four but together, I hate it. Throw is someone new and exciting, or bring back someone from the career grave, that is what makes Marvel fun. This is just four people at the heights of their career, they don’t have the cheeky factor Marvel requires.

Yes, this cast is making me think it’s going to be a serious movie, which did they learn nothing from the last one? FF needs to be fun with some cheese.

that is a time consuming gig, they have to film the F4 movie and the next 2 Avengers ones right after it. plus all the promo
