If so, it had to have been in the dreaded season 7 -- Dan & Amy sound obnoxious to me, especially with their demands that the dialogue be word-perfect (like lmfao get over yourselves), but every actor seem to speak positively about them on Gilmore Guys interviews, and nearly everyone came back for AYitL and/or Maisel cameos. So it probs wasn't them imo.

I could see this - especially since she was a main character and had quite a bit of success half way through, so I can see how she would've felt more comfortable/safe in speaking up then.

Someone else on a FB News site did a deep dive and came to that same conclusion, ruling out the other things/directors she's worked with for obvious (and not so obvious) reasons. Personally, I think there's some truth to it because the show got so much better after Roberts left.

Six seasons is a long time to be in a toxic work environment but it makes sense that she wouldn’t want to rock the boat and have people lose a steady job
