People on FauxMoi were saying it was Mike&Molly creator Mark Roberts since he never worked again after leaving that show apparently?

I could see this - especially since she was a main character and had quite a bit of success half way through, so I can see how she would've felt more comfortable/safe in speaking up then.

Someone else on a FB News site did a deep dive and came to that same conclusion, ruling out the other things/directors she's worked with for obvious (and not so obvious) reasons. Personally, I think there's some truth to it because the show got so much better after Roberts left.

Six seasons is a long time to be in a toxic work environment but it makes sense that she wouldn’t want to rock the boat and have people lose a steady job

He left after the third season, but was still credited for the full six seasons. Although, obviously, three seasons of toxic work environment is unacceptable as well.
