The tweet threads describing what it's like to be a writer have been eye-opening. I've always wanted to write for tv/movies (I never will, Australia is not the place to get into that industry) and it's been really interesting (and sad) seeing how the people behind the concepts and iconic quotes are not paid for essentially launching someone's acting career.
