I cried a bunch but am kind of surprised that other people were crying, too. I forgot to take my antidepressant for a day and when I skip a day, I turn I to a blubbering mess. I thought it was just me being overemotional. I was sitting in a packed theater trying to camouflage my sniffing at the scene with the baby raccoons.

Dog Days Are Over is really that. song. I’ve listened to it and danced with my baby a few times since watching. So good.

Totally agree with it being That. song. I want to know the music theory behind it, because I honestly think that song is Joy personified in a song and can make anyone happy cry.

it was the song that i chose to be played when i got my high school diploma on stage. ofc i tripped on my way up the podium stairs, but hey. at least i had a banging soundtrack!

I finally watched the film. I cried at all the animal cruelty. And since recently the UK went back on legislation that banned testing on animals, it hit harder.

I can't say I loved the film though. The Guardians are my favourite group but there was so much yelling and the tone shifts were too much for me. I think it could have done with less comedy. The villain was too cartoony evil too. But I enjoyed it. It's a good send off.

Also baby Rocket was the cutest thing in the world.

The yelling was insane (and often badly acted). I thought it had some really funny bits, but yeah the tone shifted a lot
The villain really was extremely cartoony (and again with the constant yelling).
The movie was also 20-30min too long, but I still enjoyed it despite all of that

Thought the villain was over the top and we didn't know much about him, and some of the fights went on too long. The pacing got screwed up because of that.
