I just started Schmigadoon. Is Schmicago a spin-off or just what they named season 2?

I really hope we get a S3 because I need to see them do Phantom, Les Mis, Miss Saigon, Rent, 42nd Street, Cats, and Starlight Express.

Oh man, maybe it's just because I'm a bit hormonal right now, but when the leprechauns said their names were Oscar and Stephen I got a little choked up.
I really hope there's a third season. I really love this show!
