Michael Shannon says Ezra Miller was “very kind” on the set of ‘The Flash.’

“Any time somebody is out in the spotlight getting picked on, I feel for them. Even if it’s warranted, it’s still a horrible situation.” https://t.co/v9GA2Q0t9s

lol @ "even if it's warranted" in this instance

It's not a reach for someone to be better behaved at the workplace than on their own free time. They aren't exactly choking Zaslav while in costume.

if that was his experience, fine, but saying this given the context is nagl and saying "giving them slack". Mess.

This is what I was thinking. This didn’t need to be said out loud. It’s the worst look.

I think he's just tenderhearted. Ezra isn't shit but I'm not going to dogpile Michael for feeling some kind of way, and in all honesty this sucks because the interviewer is putting their coworkers in the position where they have to answer for them and that's unfair. Yes, Ezra's not doing press; it doesn't mean you get to ask their coworkers how they feel about their crimes!

100% - same with the Steven Yeun/Ali Wong thing. Imagine your coworker fucked up in their private life and now everyone's asking you questions and hating you for it. Wild.

Eh, that's different because both of them seem to actually be good friends with that cretin and knew about what he's done/said before putting him in their show.

It also wasn't his "private life" is was very much his professional life that he put out there for all to see and hear.

Just to echo your comment, base on what they put out afterward seems like they knew about it and yet still chose to include him. The amount of people bending over backward to defend ali/Steven is so wild.
