This looks fun. I do like Seth essentially being the Manic Pixie Dream Girl-esque character to Rose Bynre's straight-laced lead.

I actually did like Neighbors and Neighbors 2 when it came out, and the two of them do have a fun chemistry/rapport. And it seems like the show is genuinely platonic and isn't going in a romantic direction with thei two characters, which is refreshing.

Yuuuuuuuup. I've only had one long term male friend and our friendship fell apart the moment he broke up with his girlfriend. He just expected me to step in and pick up all the non-romantic/sexual stuff his girlfriend used to do for him, like help him pick out outfits for important events, give advice on all big purchases, ect... Just moved all that emotional work to the nearest woman in his life because we're just all interchangeable I guess 🙄

I probably should've added more context - he wasn't asking any of his male friends for that kind of help and it went on for months. It got to the point where the only time he texted me was to ask for my opinion on something domestic/fashion related and we were only meeting up so I could help him shop for something. It also all stopped when he got back together with his girlfriend and suddenly he wanted to talk about and do other stuff again.
