Well, Ritchie commissioned a man named Mickey De Hara to write a sequel to 2008's Rocknrolla (!!!!!!!!!!!!) based on his personal life experiences.

When the man delivered the script about "a protagonist who runs a marijuana business" in 2018, Ritchie told him "the time of the ganster movie was over" (flop, no it ain't), basically saing "We're not doing that movie anymore (FLOP).

2 Years later, Ritchie released "The Gentlemen"< which De Hara says is a close repodruction of his screenplay. When he tried to reach out to the director, he got a very LinkedIn response -- “Mickey, I and my people have tried to contact you for some years now. There was no response. I am happy for us to sit down and have a chat.”

“I’ll try, but what I can do is get you a credit on something in the future. Let me see what I can do. Honestly, we did try to get hold of you.”

De Hara denies there was any attempt at contact and is seeking 250k.
