Star Wars Celebration is happening right now in London, and I completely forgot about it.

No plot stuff, but seems to take place around or after Rebels. Premieres August 2023.

Cast also includes Ray Stevenson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren from the Star Wars Rebels animated series, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who'll be Hera.

It looks good! I’m also curious about the three new movies announced. I know people hate Rey (I don’t), so maybe it wasn’t the smartest move PR wise to reveal all three movies together

i just woke up and also pretty much forgot about celebration today (i wouldn’t have if they’d start streaming the panels again smh) but i am feeling very that’s-a-lot-of-information-to-get-in-30-seconds.gif reading the updates right now

but re: this trailer, i am rewatching rebels right now in prep for this show (and next up is one of my fave star wars things ever, twilight of the apprentice lol) and i just hope they do right by the ghost crew. the voice actors are such a vital part of the animated characters that having different people take over has been jarring in other cases for me so far, so we’ll see! but the story here could be great if they stick the landing.

To be honest I didn't know Sabine was Asian from watching Rebels.

yeah same. plus she has loads of differnt hair colours and styles over the seasons.

yeah, that's not a good look in the live action. but in defense of sabine, she does change her hair color multiple times throughout the run of rebels.
