I asked myself this question twice yesterday, and I will ask it again:

Now that would be a British history flick I'd watch. Do we blame the Saxons? Normandy?

So to no surprise at all, the TV BAFTAs are as racist as the film BAFTAs.

Maybe instead of coming up with ridiculous excuses, they should focus on solutions.

Damn that‘s a stretch. They robbed Ambika Mod. This is going to hurt, destroyed me. She did such a good job in it.

I mean, of course. Celebrating and/or hiring white women in the name of diversity has been a tactic used by various institutions to avoid elevating people of color.

British TV has pretty much always been good at representing older actors and giving them good roles though. It's never really been a place where only young and hot actors get a chance (unless it's aimed at a younger audience.) So congrats on doing something you've always done?

Saying it counts as diversity is so stupid I don't know where to start.

TY! It is ridiculous to see comments where people acknowledge this as age diversity representation when that typically has not been an issue on British TV. Moreover, all of these actresses have been nominated for a BAFTA before!
