aren't movie tickets now like twice the price they were in 2000? these things should really go by # of tickets sold

The last Scream movie was a year ago so they haven't gone up that much but there are also adjusted box office numbers for tickets sold. The cost of making a movie goes up too though.

loved him.

[Spoiler (click to open)] wasn't sure if he is going to have a proper role in next one or if he was introduced solely to pad out suspects list. he did nothing for the plot so idk. have they wrote the trilogy as a trilogy?

[Spoiler (click to open)]I'm not sure! I would think they haven't written it out as a trilogy. The thing about Scream, as a whole, is the amount of rewrites every movie seems to have anyway. Like, if Neve comes back for the next one, they'll have to throw out some of what they have in mind already just to fit Sid into the main storyline again.

Which reminds me of how sad it is that Sid and Gale aren't central to the Scream universe anymore. But it's also a good thing? Idk. I'm so torn on that lol.

I enjoyed it, but it did literally the worst thing a horror movie could do. Like the ABSOLUTE worst.

Can you spoiler me?

[Spoiler (click to open)] i guess they mean either a fake killing where the 'victim' is one of the killers, OR that not a single notable character died

Both. But mostly the second one.

i didn’t like the beginning or the end but the middle was sooooo good to me and i had such a good time with it that it doesn’t really matter to me lol

the scream franchise is also my fav franchise so like i am firmly in the camp if there’s no bad scream movie but this one is way better than the last one. about to go rewatch it in an hour to see if the stuff i disliked works better on rewatch

this is me. i preferred the opening and reveal of 5, but the chases in this one were so much better.

i just want to say that i'm so glad melissa barrera took acting lessons bc there's a HUGE difference between her performance in s5 and in s6. good for her!

i loved it but honestly it doesn't take much for me to enjoy a scream movie. the only one i disliked was scream 3 bc the writing was really bad. scream 4 is def overhyped bc the concept was cool but emma roberts doesn't work as ghostface

oh and i honestly don't get why there's so much discussion over the ladder scene lol

what kind of discussion is happening? is it about how like of course she wouldn’t be able to get on the ladder? cuz whoooo cares lol that entire apartment scene was a great chase i missed that, we really didn’t get enough of it in 5

i'm using spoiler tags just in case lol

but basically people are saying why didn't anika go first which i find pretty stupid. she was stabbed through the stomach (and if i'm not wrong she was disemboweled?). if she went first it would have taken her AGES. by the time she got to sam's bf ghostface would have definitely broken in. it makes sense for sam to go first (not injured), then mindy (small injury) and then anika

[Spoiler (click to open)] oh yeah like i thought the argument would be that anika wouldn’t have made it on the ladder in the first place because she was literally, yes, disemboweled. i was like there’s no way she’s getting up because she really got stabbed, the knife twisted and then slid up like… insane she made it as far as she did but it was a great scene! also she kinda needed to die so mindy could stop fucking around, like, she was going over the rules a little too gleefully this time around so when she finally got to her “i’m scared” point, i was relieved.
