[Spoiler (click to open)] wasn't sure if he is going to have a proper role in next one or if he was introduced solely to pad out suspects list. he did nothing for the plot so idk. have they wrote the trilogy as a trilogy?

Which reminds me of how sad it is that Sid and Gale aren't central to the Scream universe anymore. But it's also a good thing? Idk. I'm so torn on that lol.

the scream franchise is also my fav franchise so like i am firmly in the camp if there’s no bad scream movie but this one is way better than the last one. about to go rewatch it in an hour to see if the stuff i disliked works better on rewatch

i loved it but honestly it doesn't take much for me to enjoy a scream movie. the only one i disliked was scream 3 bc the writing was really bad. scream 4 is def overhyped bc the concept was cool but emma roberts doesn't work as ghostface
oh and i honestly don't get why there's so much discussion over the ladder scene lol

i'm using spoiler tags just in case lol
but basically people are saying why didn't anika go first which i find pretty stupid. she was stabbed through the stomach (and if i'm not wrong she was disemboweled?). if she went first it would have taken her AGES. by the time she got to sam's bf ghostface would have definitely broken in. it makes sense for sam to go first (not injured), then mindy (small injury) and then anika
