That’s so sad, I can’t imagine losing them all back to back like that, that’s just so unfair :(

TW: sad [Spoiler (click to open)]I’ve been cat-sitting for two weeks now and it’s so nice having a furry friend in my home again, although I have to give her back in a week 😭 My lab passed away at age 9 in 2021. The period of time when he was very ill and we were in and out of multiple vets for two months fighting for his health is quite literally the worst time of my life, but he also gave me many years more of beautiful memories so I’m at peace knowing he’s at peace. I miss him so much though, and having this kitty cat here temporarily reminds me how much being a pet parent is in my nature. But also I’m kind of scared of committing to another animal again, at least for now, because I just do not know if I can go through the health trauma again. My dog went from being a silly old man to being desperately sick in the span of a week. I think anyone who’s fought for their pet’s life when they are so quiet and helpless knows how absolutely devastating it can be and ( ... )

Capper died before the two, he died of his old age at 15. The others died after a small trip. I hope they get answers.

Even if old age - i’d still be curious enough jus to see if there was some sort of connection… especially if I had the money.

So would I. For sure Bill is having Stitch checked. Not sure if Heidi and Tom are doing the same to Anton.
