Matthew Rhys explains the Welsh holiday St. David's Day and has a leek eating contest with Seth. He also discusses taking tourists out on his restored boat and making rarebit (cheese toast) for them.
I’ve never watched the Americans but for some reason every year or so I YouTube that scene where the daughter gets off the train and With or Without You plays. I get chills just thinking about it.
I'm rewatching it right now and sadly I'm at "I'll fight a child" levels with Paige. Spilling to Pastor Tim, yet getting mad at her parents because they won't tell her anything else? LOL. Also, ugh @ Alice threatening them when Pastor Tim went missing in Ethiopia, only for him to pop up a week later because he got lost and decided to sightsee before making his way back! Mess.
I’ve been thinking of rewatching the Americans lately and here comes this interview haha. I remain salty that Keri Russell never won an Emmy but I’m glad he did at least.
I started watching The Americans when it aired and really enjoyed the first season but I was dealing with a super stressful time in my life and never continued because I couldn't handle the stress of the show too. I really need to go back! Keri and Matthew were wonderful.
I feel like most Welsh actors get the accent beaten out of them, maybe because they start off doing Shakespeare or something. It's so refreshing to hear someone who actually still sounds Welsh.
Also oh my god I am holding my breath for the new season of Perry Mason. GIVE IT TO ME ALREADY JUST HOOK IT TO MY VEINS *it's been 87 years dot gif*

I hate that because Welsh accent is one of the loveliest accents, so musical and lilting and far preferable to RP.
Aneurin Barnard still has his accent and it's such a pleasure to listen to (I all but swooned during Daniel's scenes in 1899).
